EAS is a for-profit, start up collection agency, located in north Austin, tasked with guaranteed contracts to collect defaulted student loans on behalf of the Federal Government, Colleges, Universities and loan holders across the United States. We are looking for career-oriented individuals to fill multiple openings in our Student Loan Collection division. The right people will grow with us under our fast-paced development plan. Duties
Collection Associates/Skip Tracers will locate and/or collect from borrowers who owe money on defaulted student loans and institutional based receivables.
Mandatory Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- U.S. Citizenship or approved work visa
- You must not be in default on any of your student loan repayment obligations
- One year office experience in loan servicing, collections, customer service, customer contact center, financial service or student loan environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent bilingual abilities
- Third party collections with skip tracing experience
- College Degree
- Knowledge of the FDCPA, Privacy Laws, and other statutes and regulations
Federal background check will be required.
